Art Nouveau Opal Triplet Ring in Sterling Silver

Here is a simple little wave ring with a hand cut triangle shaped opal. It has multi color fire in blue, red and green flash.

This art nouveau designed ring is a size 5 3/4 but can be sized up to  a 7.

The stone measures  8 mm each way.

The word “Opal”, comes from the Greek word, “Opallos”, which means ‘to see a change of color’.
Most precious opals come from Australia although matrix opals are found in Mexico and other non colorful opals come from Oregon and some are from British Columbia.
Black opal and boulder opals are the rarest types while white opal and matrix opals are more common. Opal is the birthstone for October.
