This is a hand cut Picture Jasper gemstone that comes from Oregon and is set in a sterling silver custom pendant.- Jaspers are opaque micro crystalline quartz with various colorings due to trace minerals found in the locality where its from.
Picture Jasper is a silicified mudstone.
I cut this myself and is a favorite jasper having al ways a different and somewhat psychedelic look revealed.
This stone measures about 1 1/2 round and the whole pendant measures 2 by 1 3/4 inches.
