This is some very clear Moonstone with an amazing flash across the entire stone and is set in a sterling silver art nouveau wave design.
The stone used here is a 14 by10 mm oval or about 1/2 by 3/8 inch.
This ring is a size 7 but can be sized from a 6 to an 8.

Moonstone is an orthoclase feldspar and is given its name because of the chatoyant play of light found in these wonderful stones. Moonstone can come in a few different colors. Grey, peach, white and clear moonstone are all varieties. The moonstone family is quite large. labradorite, spectralite, albite, kyanite and amazonite are all in the same family of minerals. Moonstone is one of the birthstones for June.
