This is a nice translucent blue green high quality Chrysocolla (Gem silica) set in a heavy gage split shank Art Nouveau Ring design.
Gem Silica is the highest quality form of chrysocolla. The predominant silica or quartz is permeated with minute crystals of chrysocolla showing a beautiful blue or green translucency through the stone.
The stone measures 18 1/2 by 17 mm or 3/4 by 5/8 inches.
The ring is a size 7 1/2 but can be sized from a 5 to a 9.
