Rhodonite Gemstone Ring

This is some of our local Vancouver Island Rhodonite hand cut and set in a sweet little wave ring.
The black Manganese matrix contrasts with the deep pink rhodonite.  

This semi precious British Columbia gemstone is a manganese silicate mineral and is also found in Africa, Australia and the USA.
Rhodonite often has black manganese inclusions in the form of crackled lines running through the stone that create striking and beautiful semi precious gemstones. Please see more rhodonite jewelry items for examples of this.

This one of a kind art nouveau style ring is a size 6 but can be sized from a 5 to an 8.
The stone used here is hand cut and measures 10 mm round or about 1/2 inch wide.
