Larimar is It is a variety of the mineral pectolite, which is a hydrothermal deposit subsequent to volcanic activity (e.g. hot springs, geysers, etc) and was discovered in the Bahamas and Dominican Republic only within the last thirty years.
The stone used here is a hand cut oval and measures 1 by 7/8 inch.
The entire pendant measures 1 3/4 inch long by 1 inch wide.
