A hand cut free form triangle of exceptional Larimar set in a art nouveau pendant design.
Larimar was only discovered in 1986 and is a variety of the mineral pectolite, which is a hydrothermal deposit subsequent to volcanic activity (e.g. hot springs, geysers, etc) and was discovered in the Bahamas and Dominican Republic only within the last thirty years.
The stone used here is a hand cut free form and measures 5/8 by 1/2 inch.
The entire pendant measures 1 5/8 inch long by 7/8 inches wide.
