This one sure looks like a desert landscape.


Jasper is a variety of quartz. It is red, yellow, green or brown and is an opaque chalcedony. Bloodstone is a type of Jasper. Patterns are due to mineral impurities and sediments including with volcanic ash. Red Jasper is also the alternate birthstone of March.

The stone used here measures 1 1/4 by 7/8 inches. The entire pendant hangs 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch wide.
